Medical Club

The Medical Club is for students from all grades and provides opportunities for them to expand their medical knowledge and development. Our biweekly lecture meetings bring in alumni who are active in the medical field and who wish to share their work with aspiring health professionals, promoting a great alumni-student relationship. The Medical Club is also involved with HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) which allows students to compete and learn alongside other high school level health clubs around the country. The club has made an effort to be involved in service through annual mission trips such as our recent trip to Alajuelita, Costa Rica. In addition, many members engage in research and volunteer work in medical settings such as Beaumont Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.

The purpose of the Medical Club is to provide students who are interested in pursuing medical careers with opportunities to explore the various field of medicine and to foster growth of medical knowledge through clinical volunteering, mission trips, and lectures from health professionals.

Meeting Information

The Medical Club has biweekly meetings at 7:15 am on Tuesdays in Room B111 during which health professionals lecture members on their experience in the medical field and their area of expertise.
