Bradford Jones ’14 and Julia Dixon M’14 Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 List

Two outstanding 2014 graduates from the Lahser Road campus, Bradford Jones and Julia Dixon, were both recently named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list. This remarkable recognition highlights their exceptional achievements, innovation, and potential to shape the future in their respective fields. 

Bradford Jones – Venture Capital

Bradford Jones ’14 has earned a spot on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his remarkable achievements in venture capital. During his time at Brother Rice, Jones was a standout athlete, excelling as a swimmer while demonstrating dedication and leadership in both athletics and academics. These formative experiences taught him the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities that have shaped his professional journey.

After high school, Bradford walked on to the University of Michigan football team, further proving his determination and drive. Balancing academics and athletics, he developed the leadership skills that would eventually propel him into the world of venture capital.

Today, as a venture capitalist, Jones is making a significant impact by identifying and supporting innovative startups. His work centers on nurturing emerging companies, helping them grow and succeed. Being named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list highlights his early accomplishments and the impact he is already making in the industry.

Julia Dixon – Education

Julia Dixon M’14 is the founder of ESAI, an innovative AI-powered platform revolutionizing the college admissions process. She is the daughter of proud Brother Rice/Marian parents Mary Beth M’85 and Dave Dixon ’83. 

A former college advisor and University of Michigan graduate, Julia launched ESAI in mid-2023 with a mission to level the playing field for students everywhere. This freemium tool serves as a personalized tutor, offering essay feedback, scholarship resources, and admissions strategies to over 350,000 high school students.

ESAI’s impact has been phenomenal, reaching 20 million students on TikTok, securing $1.25 million in funding, and earning Julia a well-deserved spot on the prestigious 30 Under 30 list!
