How to Apply to Brother Rice High School

Submit your application for the 2026-2027 school year! 

All prospective students considering enrollment for the upcoming academic year are encouraged to apply. At Brother Rice High School, the Enrollment Team reviews applications on a rolling basis and notifies families as decisions are made.

Application Requirements

To be considered for admission, families must complete all three application steps outlined below.

  1. Complete the online Application

    First, complete the online application through the Brother Rice application portal. During this process, you will be prompted to download and submit the required forms listed below.

      • Print the Transcript Release Form and provide it to your current school counselor or registrar for submission to the Enrollment Office.

      • Submit the School and Student Profile Form to your current school principal, assistant principal, or counselor for submission to the Enrollment Office.

      • Submit the Teacher Recommendation Form to one of your son’s current 8th-grade teachers for submission to the Enrollment Office.

  2. Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) 

    Next, applicants must complete the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the admissions process.

  3. Complete your Warrior for a Day visit

    Finally, prospective students participate in a Warrior for a Day visit to experience life at Brother Rice firsthand.

 

Optional: 

Beginning November 1, families may also complete the following optional applications:

  • Complete the FACTS Financial Aid application (see Affording Brother Rice for details).

  • Complete the Need-Based Scholarship Application.

Please note: Families applying for scholarships must also complete the online FACTS Financial Aid application to be considered.
