Davis Feldman ’15 Returns Home as Assistant Athletic Director

We are proud to welcome Davis Feldman ’15 back to Brother Rice as our new Assistant Athletic Director. A former professional baseball player and experienced athletics administrator, Davis brings a strong combination of leadership, technical knowledge, and firsthand understanding of the values that define our Warrior community.

After graduating from Brother Rice in 2015, Davis spent six years playing professional baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays organization and independent baseball. His experience competing at the professional level, along with his work in athletic administration, will provide a valuable perspective as we continue supporting our coaches, student-athletes, and championship-caliber programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Davis back to our Warrior Brotherhood and athletic team,” said Director of Athletics Jeff Calcaterra. “He brings tremendous energy, passion, technical skill, and extensive experience in athletics at multiple levels. Bringing back a Warrior to be a servant leader for our programs and community is especially exciting. Davis has lived our culture firsthand and is deeply rooted in the greater Edmund Rice mission.”

Beyond his playing career, Davis has served as Coordinator of Athletics for the Catholic High School League and as an Events Associate with the Detroit Lions. His commitment to high school athletics was recognized in 2021 when he was inducted into the Catholic High School League Hall of Fame.

Catholic education and athletics have long been part of the Feldman family story. Davis’s father and uncle both served as Catholic High School League athletic directors, and his mother is a Catholic League alumna. His brother, Nate Feldman ’17, continued the family’s Brother Rice tradition, while his sister, Jacqui, graduated from Marian High School in 2019.

Returning to campus marks a meaningful full-circle moment for Davis and an opportunity to invest in the next generation of Warriors.

“I’m beyond excited and thankful to come back to Brother Rice and serve as the new Assistant Athletic Director,” Davis said.

“This place means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to help serve the student-athletes, the coaches, the staff, and the community with high integrity, good faith, and with the best interests of our young men at the forefront. I’m looking forward to maintaining the standard of excellence that defines Brother Rice and helping take it to even greater heights.”

In his new role, Davis will work closely with our coaches, student-athletes, and school leadership to strengthen our athletic programs while advancing the faith, character, leadership, and competitive excellence that have long distinguished Brother Rice athletics.

We are excited to welcome Davis home and look forward to the energy, experience, and passion he will bring to our Athletic Department and the entire Warrior community.
