Mom and Sons Service Day
Each fall and winter, a Saturday morning is set aside for 50 Mothers and their sons to volunteer together at a local organization that serves individuals in need. This meaningful opportunity allows families to give back to the community, foster a spirit of service, and make a positive impact while working side by side.

Senior Scoop Day
An old-fashioned Good Humor ice cream truck has been reserved to serve seniors a refreshing frozen treat during their lunch hour.

Sip & Shop Event
This is the Mothers’ Club largest fundraising event of the year and takes place in the Brother Rice gymnasium in the evening hours. More than 35 vendors will be showcasing and selling their products while guests browse, enjoy delicious food, and sip wine and other beverages.

The Mothers’ Club hosts a wonderful holiday luncheon for the faculty, staff, and retirees of Brother Rice. The event features fun games, incredible prizes, and a special Christmas gift for every guest, making it a festive and memorable celebration for all.

Paczki Day
Paczki Day is a festive celebration centered on enjoying paczki, a Polish pastry similar to a doughnut. It is observed annually on Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, as a final indulgence before the 40-day Lenten season of fasting and reflection. All students and faculty and staff members will be treated to a paczki.

Mother and Son Mass & Breakfast
This is one of the most popular events of the year! The day begins with Mass at St. Regis Church, followed by a continental breakfast in the Brother Rice Dining Hall.
