Eagle Scout Achievement!
Sophomore Alex Prodan attained the prestigious Eagle Scout ranking on January 28th with Birmingham Troop 1001, marking a significant accomplishment. During the past summer, Alex dedicated his efforts to a meaningful project with Cass Community Social Services, a program focused on aiding individuals in transitioning out of homelessness. In this initiative, he skillfully rebuilt, sanded, and stained twelve picnic tables while also revitalizing the park surroundings.
To successfully accomplish the task, Alex orchestrated the details of the project, invested numerous hours in hands-on labor, and adeptly enlisted support from troop leaders, fellow scouts, family, and friends. The transformation was remarkable, resulting in a beautiful space upon completion.
The attainment of Eagle Scout is an accomplishment held by only 6% of scouts, a testament to Alex’s exceptional commitment and dedication. He continues a proud scouting legacy, following in the footsteps of his Godfather, who is also an Eagle Scout, and his Grandfather, who holds the esteemed rank of Life Scout. Congratulations Alex!
