The Tim Manganello ‘68 Institute for Leadership is a vibrant, cross-disciplinary, interconnected hub for student collaboration, teambuilding, and leadership skill development. The Institute for Leadership is central to the learning experience for students throughout their tenure at Brother Rice.
The Institute for Leadership develops confident, principled leaders through a robust array of programs and experiences. Seniors gain hands-on experience in peer leadership roles, while all students engage in leadership training, seminars, and symposiums designed to sharpen communication, decision-making, and teambuilding skills. The Institute also hosts guest speakers, facilitates faculty-led leadership initiatives, and offers curriculum-based learning opportunities both on and off campus—partnering with corporate and civic leaders across Metro Detroit to prepare students to lead with vision, integrity, and impact.
