Tommy Woycik ’85 Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The Tommy Woycik ‘85 Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship will serve as an inspired cross-disciplinary incubator for student ideation, creation and enterprise skill development. The Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship will be central to the student learning experience throughout their tenure at Brother Rice.
The Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship fuels creativity, problem-solving, and business acumen through student and alumni collaborations, faculty-led seminars, entrepreneur forums, and hands-on learning experiences. Signature extracurricular programs like the Business Entrepreneurship Alliance for Marian and Rice (BEAM&R) introduce students to the world of business and entrepreneurship through workshops, fundraising initiatives, guest speakers, and marketing lectures—equipping them with practical skills and inspiring future innovators. The Institute also connects students with Metro Detroit entrepreneurs for internships, mentor days, and real-world project work, transforming ideas into action and preparing the next generation of business leaders.
