To begin the admissions process, visit our Application Portal to submit the online application and supporting documentation.

High School Placement Test

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) measures a student’s ability in cognitive and basic skill areas and can be administered in a relatively limited amount of time. Since the entire battery is standardized the end results are directly comparable for all test areas and can be related to the level of the students at the time of entering high school. Learn More.

Warrior for a Day Visit

Warrior for a Day visits provide students with a chance to experience a typical day as a Brother Rice student and also complete their Admissions Interview. More Information.

Candidate Evaluation and Decisions

Once a student's completed application has been received, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Students admitted for ninth grade will receive notification of acceptance on Warrior Decision Day in January.

Enrollment

In order to guarantee your son's place at Brother Rice, please complete all enrollment steps and submit your deposit by the date specified in your son's acceptance packet. To take advantage of the Early Enrollment Period benefits, please complete the steps by February 13, 2026.
