100% Brother Rice Spotlight – Mr. Don Ciaravino
There are many things that make a Brother Rice student who he is. None of which are average. We encourage our students to develop their interests and pursuits through experiential learning opportunities, helping them discover hidden talents and passions. Every student’s path is different and we believe that is a good thing. We also believe that only when you are 100% YOU, are you 100% Brother Rice!
The same is true for our faculty and staff. Every adult on campus is fully committed to helping each student become his best self, and they do this by being theirs.
“For the last eight years here at Brother Rice, I have been a member of the Social Studies Department. I have taught students World History, Economics, Government, AP US History, and AP Comparative Government. I have coached Football (and currently coach in our feeder program). In addition, I am the Debate and Quiz Bowl coach and the St. Padre Pio Band Dean. As a Catholic high school graduate myself, I am beyond grateful to be able to teach in an environment that helped mold me into the man I am today. There is a mission here to make this place the best it can be, to get better every day, to help these young men become honorable men, and to rear them in what it means to be a man full of character who pursues excellence in everything he does. The fact that I get to do that every day is a true blessing and not something I take lightly.” — Mr. Don Ciaravino
