Honorable Man Pledge
We, the Students of Brother Rice High School, Pledge the Following:
In all the situations we face we will do what is right, act appropriately, and constantly be mindful of where we are and what is being asked of us.
In the morning we will drive safely. We will be on time, in dress code, and be fully prepared for the academic challenges of the day with a positive attitude toward learning.
In the hallways we will be social, supportive, and courteous towards all members of the Brother Rice Community.
In the classroom we will be alert, engaged, and enthusiastic about growing in Academic Excellence.
During academic assessments we will perform our tasks with honesty and integrity at all times. We will not violate test-taking policies. We will hold our fellow Warriors and ourselves accountable.
In the cafeteria we will be polite, patient, inclusive, and responsible at all times.
At mass we will be reverent, well dressed, attentive, and focused on building our relationship with God.
Outside the doors of the school we will be fully committed to demonstrating Respect in all that we think, say, and do. We will be outstanding ambassadors for Jesus Christ and for Brother Rice.
At all times we will turn away from poor decisions, malicious behaviors, vulgar language, and laziness.
At all times we will strive to be HONORABLE MEN together. We will make positive contributions to the lives of those around us. We will become more compassionate, humble, courageous, driven, grateful, hardworking, encouraging, generous, and well-intentioned men of conviction each day, following in the ultimate example of Jesus Christ our brother. In the process, we will honor Him and all other former Warriors as we live each day.
