Leadership

Our commitment to student leadership and skill development creates a nurturing environment where students can grow into confident, capable leaders ready to make a difference in the world.

Through the Tim Manganello ’68 Institute for Leadership, Brother Rice offers a variety of student leadership opportunities designed to cultivate essential skills and empower students to become influential leaders. The school's leadership programs focus on developing communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities while fostering a sense of responsibility and community engagement.

One of the prominent leadership opportunities is the Band of Brothers program, where upperclassmen mentor underclassmen, guiding them through their high school journey.

Club leadership roles allow students to take charge of various interest-based groups, from academic and extracurricula clubs to sports teams. These positions allow students to hone their organizational and leadership skills in areas they are passionate about.

Leadership development is further supported through specific courses and workshops to enhance public speaking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
