POINTS OF PRIDE

  Brother Rice delivers a comprehensive, challenging, and accredited college prep curriculum. 21.5% of the 2017 graduates received ACT composite scores of 30 or above. This is more than four times the national average of 5%.

  Our students are academically motivated, 99%  of our graduating class are accepted to four-year colleges.

  Our graduates currently attend Ivy League schools, the U.S. Military Academies, Catholic Universities, and other top schools around the nation.

  Students pray twice a day with the entire student body, and at the beginning of each class period.

  The RICE Pillars – Respect, Integrity, Character and Excellence are a daily part of a Brother Rice education!

  The Band of Brothers system emphasizes the formation of the entire person and demonstrates positive measurable results in many areas, including grades, discipline, and Christian service.

  84% of our faculty have Master’s Degrees or higher.

  Designated College Counselor to assist students in the college application process.

  Annual National Merit Scholarship Award winners. 

  95% of students are “college/career ready” based on ACT data.

  Dual enrollment program with LTU and UDM.

  Six Academic All-State Teams: Cross Country, Basketball, Golf, Lacrosse, Hockey, and Swimming.

  Twenty-eight Class of 2018 student/athletes will compete athletically at the collegiate level.

  Robust Advanced Placement (AP) programs.

  National Latin Exam Award winners.

  Mech Warriors Robotics team competes at the state level annually, in 2018, they also qualified for the World Championships.

  The Marian Rice Grand Chorus received a one-rating (Excellent) at the Michigan School Vocal Music Association Choral Festivals at both the District and State level.

  Debate & Model United Nations (MUN) Teams compete on a national level.

  Biology trips; Galapagos Islands (2018), Iceland (2019).

  Annual mission trip to Peru.

  Kairos Retreats are recognized as the most impactful faith experience for juniors and seniors.

  Christ Child Volunteer Program.

  Over 12,000 student service hours completely annually.

  Warriors for Life participate in the National March for Life.

  Rice for Life students participate in Relay for Life.

  Twenty-six diverse extracurricular activities.

  Eighteen foreign exchange students.
