It is observed annually on Fat Tuesday\, the day before Ash Wednesday\, as a final indulgence before the 40-day Lenten season of fasting and reflection.  All students and faculty and staff members will be treated to a paczki.

In addition\, a professional photographer will be on campus to capture individual black-and-white portraits of mothers and their son(s) in the gymnasium\, creating a lasting keepsake of this special occasion.
