Brother Rice High School has an unprecedented record of success in state athletic competition with 65 team state championships in ten different sports over the past 40 years and more than 60 individual state champions in golf, wrestling, tennis, track, cross country, skiing and swimming.

The recently retired head football coach, Al Fracassa, is the all-time wins leader in Michigan high school football history and sixth all time in the nation. In 1997 and again in 2005, the NFL named him National High School Coach of the Year. The lacrosse team has won the state title 20 times including the last 13 straight years and was the 2008 Inside Lacrosse National Champion. Our swim team has won three national championships in 1996, 1997 and 1998.
