The “Warrior for a Day” Program provides prospective students the chance to meet Brother Rice administrators, tour the school, and experience a typical day with a current Brother Rice Student which includes lunch on us.

Students and parents are asked to arrive by 8:00 AM – please enter the building through the front doors facing Lahser Road.  Upon arrival, students and parents will be greeted by members of the Enrollment Team and Brother Rice Administration. We encourage parents to attend the Morning session and tour which concludes around 9:30 AM.

Dress Code/What to bring:

  • Dress code is a collared, button down shirt and a tie, dress pants (no jeans), and dress shoes
  • Bring a bag of gym clothes and gym shoes in case your host has a gym class
  • Bring a book to read in case a test is being given in a class you are visiting
  • If students choose to bring a cell phone, it must remain off throughout the day.

PLEASE NOTE: Eighth grade students will be paired with a student who is an underclassman (usually a freshman). We feel that this gives the most accurate representation of an incoming student’s school day. Not all of our underclassmen have signed up to participate in the “Warrior for a Day” program, so while you may request a specific student, this is not a GUARANTEE. Each ambassador is responsible for one guest at a time; if your requested ambassador has already been paired with a visitor, we will find another ambassador with similar interests.
