High School Placement Test and Prep Class Opportunities

The Scholastic Testing Service (STS) – High School Placement Test (HSPT) measures a student’s ability in cognitive and basic skill areas and can be administered in a relatively limited amount of time. Since the entire battery is standardized the end results are directly comparable for all test areas and can be related to the level of the students at the time of entering high school.

Any 8th grade applicant interested in attending Brother Rice must take the High School Placement Test. The tests are given at Brother Rice on the following dates:

Saturday, November 23 from 8am – 11:15am
Saturday, December 7 from 8am – 11:15am

The cost is $50.  To register, please click here.

Please note:  Brother Rice will only offer testing accommodations for the December 7 test.  If you are requesting testing accommodations, please do so when registering for the test.
