Academic Excellence in the Catholic Tradition is not just a saying, it is what we live by. By any measure, Brother Rice high school is an elite college preparatory high school. 100% of our graduates are accepted to a 4 year university and the great majority of them are accepted to their first choice. Our success of getting our students into the college of their choice is a combination of our experience and dedicated counseling department and the results that the students have earned. Our students ACT test score average is 25.3 compared to the Michigan average of 19.9. It is common for over two-thirds of our students to be on the Honor Roll each semester even while balancing an often challenging class schedule.
Our graduates are prepared for college both academically and spiritually and they go on to study at some of the finest universities in the country. Brother Rice students are well prepared because of the rigorous curriculum offered. As a result, over 90% of our Alumni receive an undergraduate degree in under 5 years and go on to lives of success — as husbands and fathers, leaders of industry and men of faith and character.
