The playoff schedule works as follows: The winner of the #1 seed vs. #8 seed game plays the winner of the #4 seed vs. the #5 seed game. The winner of the #2 seed vs. #7 seed game plays the winner of the #3 seed vs. #6 seed game.

P.S. The Brother Rice basketball team finished the regular season at a very respectful 14-6 overall clip. They play their first district playoff game against the winner of the Pontiac Northern/Lahser game tonight. They are scheduled to play this game at 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Pontiac Northern.
